< 1 Min Read

Please be aware that the MyRACMA system will be unavailable on Tuesday 2nd April at 07:00 (AEDT) as we will be performing scheduled maintenance. We anticipate a downtime of 30 minutes.

We are pleased to announce some changes to the CPD requirements for RACMA Associate Fellows. These changes have come about as a result of changes to CPD requirements by the Medical Board of Australia and Medical Council of New Zealand for RACMA Fellows which we have followed through to our Associate Members.

From 1 January 2023, you will only be required to complete 20 hours in total of CPD activities. This is a reduction of five hours from the previous requirements.

The change is due to the total maximum claimable hours for your Professional Development Plan (PDP) being reduced from 10 hours to five hours. Therefore, your CPD targets are up to five hours for PDP and the remaining hours, to a total of 20, in other activities.

You are not required to complete mandatory categories of Reviewing Performance and Measuring Outcomes, however to complete a well-rounded annual CPD, you should consider doing activities that relate to all three of the new standards.

A new CPD handbook will be available on the RACMA website in the coming weeks and you can access supporting templates to assist you with your CPD activities here.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at cpd@racma.edu.au
