Members may be considered for exemption from Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for a maximum period of 12 months under the following circumstances:
- Parental Leave
- Bereavement of immediate family member
- Personal illness/health reasons
- Extended family/personal leave
- Extended absence from professional duties
- Cultural responsibilities
- Other special circumstances
Application for exemption from CPD are considered on a case by case basis by the Continuing Professional Development Program Committee (CPDPC). Please refer to the CPD Governance and Compliance Policy HERE.
