Applications for Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience
For an application for Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience to be considered by RACMA:
- The application must be received by RACMA no later than 14 days after applying for the RACMA Fellowship Training Program.
- The application must be submitted on the prescribed form.
- The application must include all prescribed supporting information as outlined on the form.
- The prescribed application fee must have been received by RACMA.
For timely processing of your application please ensure that you:
- Complete all relevant sections of form
- Include copies of all required supporting evidence that are labelled with the relevant section of the from and your name
- Provide the name and contact details of relevant referees
- Inform the referees that you have provided their details and they will be asked to complete a referee report
Assessment of Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience applications
Applications for Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience undergo a desk-top review and if the application seeks recognition for experience at Senior Medical Leadership and Management Level referees will be contacted.
Valid applications are referred to a Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience Panel. Should the Panel require further information, the applicant is requested to provide additional evidence or attend an interview. The Panel makes a recommendation to the Education and Training Committee, who decides the outcome of an application, which is communicated to the applicant.
