Could your health setting host a new RACMA training position if Commonwealth funding was available?
Rural (MMM 2-7) and private health settings are invited to apply to add new training positions to the RACMA STP Reserve List (waiting list).
- The position must be new, and not previously funded or filled.
- The position must be accredited by RACMA.
- Once accredited, RACMA will submit the position for:
- Support from the relevant State or Territory Health Workforce Branch, and
- Final approval by the Commonwealth Government.
- If a funding offer is made, indicative funding for 2026 is up to $142,333 per 1.0 FTE per annum for STP positions, or up to $160,476 per 1.0 FTE per annum for IRTP positions. All amounts exclude GST.
- Inclusion on the Reserve List does not guarantee funding but allows the position to be considered if funding becomes available.
Complete this form to register your interest in STP funding. You may register at any time. Please note that the STP is currently being redesigned, and funding arrangements beyond 2026 have not yet been confirmed.
