Specialist Training Program (STP) Funding Opportunity Reserve List Process for Rural or Private Health Settings
Could your health setting host a new RACMA training position if Commonwealth funding was available?
The STP Reserve List Process enables interested rural (MMM 2-7) or private health settings to apply for new training positions (not previously funded or filled) to be added to the STP/IRTP Reserve List for future funding consideration.
Step 1: Apply for RACMA Accreditation
- Interested health settings must first submit an Accreditation application to RACMA by 1 November 2024. Late applications will not be accepted.
- To do this, please contact stp@racma.edu.au and the Accreditation Application Form for STP Reserve List posts will be emailed to you.
- Accreditation must be in place prior to applying for Step 2: the Commonwealth Reserve List Process.
Step 2: Apply for Commonwealth Reserve List Process
- Eligible health settings may apply for the Commonwealth Reserve List Process via an online portal which will open in early March 2025 (details to be confirmed).
- Successful Reserve List Process applications will be added to RACMA’s STP or IRTP Reserve List and will be considered for future funding, should a vacancy occur.
- Funded posts in 2025 are eligible for up to $140,619 for STP positions, and up to $158,027 for IRTP positions (all amounts are per 1.0 FTE per annum and exclude GST).
