Annual 2024 CPD requirements must be finalised by 31 March 2025 by entering relevant activities dependent on category of membership.
Information for Fellows
As a Fellow it is crucial to maintain your CPD compliance for both membership of the College and registration with the Medical Board of Australia or Medical Council of New Zealand.
CPD activities for RACMA need to be relevant to your scope of practice as a Medical Administrator.
All Fellows are required to complete a minimum of 50 hours of CPD per calendar year and record their activities on the MyRACMA app. Activities must include:
1. A Professional Development Plan (Mandatory activity)
2. An Annual Conversation with a peer, colleague, or employer (Mandatory activity)
The Professional Development Plan and Annual Conversation are credited in the Reviewing Performance category to a maximum of five hours each.
3. A mixture of activities across the following three categories:
a. Category 1 — Reviewing Performance
b. Category 2 — Measuring Outcomes
c. Category 3 — Educational Activities
The mixture of activities must include:
▪ A minimum of a combined 25 hours across Category 1 and Category 2, with a minimum of 5 hours in each category
▪ A minimum of 12.5 hours from Category 3
▪ The remaining 12.5 hours can be completed across any of the categories
Information for Associate Fellows
As an Associate Fellow, it is crucial to maintain your CPD compliance for your membership of the College.
CPD activities for RACMA need to be relevant to your scope of practice as a Medical Administrator and include a professional development plan (PDP), which is mandatory for all Associate Fellows.

If you wish to review a summary of your 2024 CPD activities, log in to MyRACMA and you will be directed to your CPD Dashboard, which provides a total of hours against each category. You can download a summary by clicking on “My ePortfolio” and selecting “Summary”.
