Dr Sue Abhary

As a fellow of RACMA since 2018, I feel honoured to be nominated for a RACMA Board Director position. I am passionate about matters relating to doctor’s in training, doctor’s health and wellbeing, rural and regional and Indigenous health. I bring over 5 years of experience in Board Director roles, including AMA Victoria and Yalu Aboriginal Corporation. I bring representation from the jurisdiction of South Australia and I am offering a unique skillset including experience as a senior executive in private health insurance, corporate and commercial, health start-ups, and health management across public and private hospitals including rural and regional health. As a longstanding member of RACMA’s Indigenous Health Policy and Advocacy Sub Committee, I have driven and supported the derivation of the First Nations Scholarships for the Fellowship Training Program. With your vote, I am committed to optimising and elevating RACMA’s profile, impact and training program across Australasia.
