Oral Examination

Q. I had planned to sit the August 2020 Oral Examinations. Should I book leave, travel and accommodation to attend the examination at this time?

A. The College intends to run the Oral Examination in December 2020, however due to the uncertainty at this time due to the impact of COVID-19 this may be subject to change.

The College will provide details about examination dates and application processes once they are confirmed. Once you have applied to sit the examination and your eligibility to sit the examination is confirmed then travel and accommodation could be booked.

Q: What is the rescheduled date for the Oral Examination that was to be held in August 2020?

A: The College intends to run the Oral Examination in December 2020, however due to the uncertainty at this time due to the impact of COVID-19 this may be subject to change. The College is monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will provide as much notice as possible regarding the rescheduled Oral Examination date and application processes.

1st Year Candidates’ Workshop

Q. When will I be informed of the new date for the 1st Year Candidates’ Workshop?

A. At this time the new dates for the 1st Year Candidates’ Workshop have not been determined. The College is monitoring the COVID-19 situation. The College will provide details about alternative arrangements once they are confirmed.

Q. We have been informed that some workshop content will be made available online. How do I access this?

A. To support Candidates with their training, some content that would have been delivered at the workshop is going to be delivered online. This material will be available in Canvas.

Q. How do I claim a refund for the rescheduled 1st Year Candidates’ Workshop?

A. You will have received an email with a link to an electronic refund request form. If you have not received this email contact ftpadmin@racma.edu.au.

Q. How long will it take to receive my refund?

A. Please allow up to 20 business days for the refund to be processed and returned to you.

2nd Year Candidates’ Workshop

Q. When will I be informed of the new arrangements for the 2nd Year Candidates’ Workshop?

A. At this time the new dates and arrangements for the 2nd Year Candidates’ Workshop have not been determined. The College is monitoring the COVID-19 situation. The College will provide details about alternative arrangements once they are confirmed. This will include registration processes.

Q. Where can I get support?

A. The College provides all members support through Converge International. Converge provides confidential and private support. You can contact an EAP Counsellor by calling 1300 687 327 (Australia) and 0800 666 367 (New Zealand).
