Background
In 2017 the Board endorsed a change in the model of learning in the Fellowship Training Program from a progression model to an integrated one. While the College’s eight Role Competencies (graduate outcomes) continue as the basis for the Curriculum, they have now been grouped into four Domains of Learning and Assessment.
The four Domains are:
- Health System Science (HSS) – incorporating Medical Expert
- Medical management practice (MMP) – incorporating Medical Manager and Communicator;
- Research training – incorporating the health service research (RT) components of Scholar; and
- Personal and professional leadership development (PPLD) – incorporating Leader, Professional, Collaborator, Advocate and the educational components of Scholar.
