Are you a Registrar/Principal House Officer with an interest in Medical Education and Wellbeing? Rockhampton Hospital are recruiting to this one-off opportunity now!

The Medical Education and Wellbeing Registrar/Principal House Officer is a key member of the Regional Medical Pathway (RMP) project team and is an accreditable Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA) training position, which reports to the Director of Medical Academic Development (DMAD).

About us

Central Queensland (CQ) Health provides public health services across Central Queensland, in hospitals and in the community. The establishment of the Central Queensland and Wide Bay Regional Medical Pathway (RMP) is an exciting program of work which is pivotal in addressing the challenges experienced by the Central Queensland  and Wide Bay communities because of medical workforce shortages of Medical Officers, at all appointment levels.

About the role

The Medical Education and Wellbeing Registrar/Principal House Officer works collaboratively as a member of the RMP project team. This position will support of the objectives of the RMP, which is an initiative supported by all levels of government and medical leadership.

About you

To be successful in this role you must have MBBS or equivalent and General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Salary information

Total remuneration value of up to $145,865 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A salary between $125,808 – $145,865 p.a.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
