Royal Australasian College of Physicians Culturally Safe Supervision Project

RACMA’s First Nations Advisor is a member of the Working Group developing resources for RACP’s Culturally Safe Supervision project, funded by the Australian Government under the Flexible Approach to Training in Expanded Settings (FATES) program.

On Tuesday, 28 November 2023 RACP facilitated a webinar for supervisors of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander trainees. The webinar explored the referendum’s (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament) impact on Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander trainees. Including support for supervisors to learn how supervisors can provide culturally safe support.

RACP is offering the opportunity to view the webinar and the supporting materials developed to support supervisors of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander trainees. If you are not a member of RACP you are able to join as a Guest to access this resource and the suite of resources that is currently under development.
