RACMA invites Expressions of Interest to join the Board of Censors, a critical role supporting the College’s assessment activities.
About the role
Censors contribute their expertise in assessment and medical education and are appointed through a structured application, selection, training, and approval process. Censors may serve on Panels of Assessors for:
- College Oral Examinations
- Oral Examination Question Preparation
- Research and Evidence-Informed Decision-Making Assessments (written and oral)
- University Masters Program Approval Reviews
- Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience Applications
- Comparability Assessments for Specialist International Medical Graduates
Commitment and expectations
Censors are required to:
- Complete induction and training
- Participate in at least one assessment task per year
- Attend at least one Board of Censors meeting per year
- Engage in peer review of College assessments
- Participate in Censor professional development webinars or workshops
