About the Role
As the DMS, you will work with a multi-disciplinary executive team, supported by a FRACMA qualified Deputy Director Medical Services and be responsible for the medical leadership, clinical and medical workforce governance of the Caboolture and Kilcoy Hospitals and Woodford Correctional Services, Directorate pharmacy services and Health Information Management.
All while working within a large collegiate team of Fellow Medical Administrators across Metro North Hospital and Health Service. As an active member of the Caboolture, Kilcoy and Woodford Directorate Executive, the DMS is responsible for ensuring that the medical services provided within the Directorate are delivered to the highest professional and ethical standards.
This role presents the opportunity for you to lead and influence the maturation of an emerging Directorate that is expanding services to meet the demands of a rapidly growing population. From expanding emergency and urgent care, paediatric, gastroenterology and maturation of key sub-specialist medical capabilities through to development of dedicated, onsite specialist geriatric and palliative care and orthopaedic services, the opportunities to positively contribute are limitless.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators with significant medical leadership capability and experience and a passion to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical services to a growing community being served by a recently expanded hospital facility.
