If you haven’t recorded your 2024 CPD activities, we encourage you to avoid the stress of doing it at the last minute.
As a Fellow it is crucial to maintain CPD compliance for both membership of the College and for registration with the Medical Board of Australia or Medical Council of New Zealand. As an Associate Fellow it is crucial to maintain CPD compliance for membership of the College. As a CPD Home participant it is crucial to maintain CPD compliance for registration with the Medical Board of Australia or Medical Council of New Zealand.
The Medical Board of Australia requires all Colleges to report on CPD compliance by the 1st of June 2025. To enable the College to complete the audit within this timeframe we require you to have finalised your 2024 CPD by no later than COB 31st of March 2025.
It is important to note that CPD activities for RACMA are relevant to the scope of practice as a Medical Administrator and include a professional development plan (PDP), mandatory for Fellows, CPD Home participants and Associate Fellows and Annual Conversation, which is mandatory for all Fellows and CPD Home participants.
All Fellows and CPD HOme participants are required to complete a minimum of 50 hours of CPD per calendar year and record their activities on the MyRACMA portal.
All Associate Fellows are required to complete a minimum of 20 hours of CPD per calendar year and record their activities on the MyRACMA portal.
FELLOWS & CPD HOME
Activities must include:
1. A Professional Development Plan
2. An Annual Conversation with a peer, colleague, or employer
The Professional Development Plan and Annual Conversation are credited in the Reviewing Performance category to a maximum of five hours each.
3. A mixture of activities across the following three categories:
a. Category 1 — Reviewing Performance
b. Category 2 — Measuring Outcomes
c. Category 3 — Educational Activities
The mixture of activities must include:
▪ A minimum of a combined 25 hours across Category 1 and Category 2, with a minimum of 5 hours in each category
▪ A minimum of 12.5 hours from Category 3
▪ The remaining 12.5 hours can be completed across any of the categories
ASSOCIATE FELLOWS
Activities must include:
- A Professional Development Plan
- 15 hours of CPD activities across any of the three categories

If you wish to review a summary of your 2024 CPD activities, log in to MyRACMA and you will be directed to your CPD Dashboard, which provides total hours against each category.
