Our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) signifies an important milestone for RACMA. Innovate will support us to build on the understandings gained in RACMA RAP Reflect, which will support the implementation of RACMA RAP Innovate. Our reconciliation growth journey focuses on the process of learning – this involves listening to different perspectives, building empathy and understanding the complexity of reconciliation.
An Innovate RAP is the time to strengthen and develop the connections that form the lifeblood of all RAP commitments. The RAP program’s framework of relationships, respect, and opportunities emphasises not only the importance of fostering consultation and collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, but also empowering and enabling staff to contribute to this process, as well.
We encourage all RACMA staff, Members, healthcare leaders and decision makers to join us as we continue the journey of reconciliation.
