As a guide, a schedule of activities is outlined below to assist Supervisors to manage their time commitments with their Candidate(s).
Familiarisation with the RACMA MEDICAL LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT CURRICULUM.
Throughout the period of training, facilitate access to workplace experiential training, as suggested in the RACMA Curriculum, and relevant to the Candidate’s ATP. Make observations and provide feedback.
January | Assist the Candidate to develop and document their Annual Training Plan. |
February | Candidates sit trial exams. |
March | Liaise with the Candidate’s Preceptor to monitor Candidate requirements and progress, discuss concerns, etc. |
June | Complete In Training Performance Report with the Candidate. Confirm Candidate’s time in supervised Medical Administration Practice. Liaise with the Candidate’s Preceptor to monitor Candidate requirements and progress, discuss concerns, etc. |
August | Candidates sit oral exam. |
September | Liaise with the Candidate’s Preceptor to monitor candidate requirements and progress, discuss concerns, etc. |
November | Review and Complete In Training Performance Report with the Candidate. Confirm Candidate’s time in supervised Medical Administration Practice. |
December | Support Candidate through their exams. Oral exams will usually be in August of each year. Trial exams scheduled for February. |
