The Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience (RPLE) process enables applicants for the Fellowship Training Program (FTP) to seek advance standing as a result of prior learning and experience.
There are three Domains from the training program that applicants may apply for RPLE:
- Health System Science Domain (HSSD) – This domain relates to the mandatory Masters program that is a requirement for all candidates to complete prior to applying for Fellowship. Further information about applying for credit can be found HERE.
- Research Training Domain (RTD) – Credit may be granted for previous studies in this area. Further information about applying for credit can be found HERE.
- Medical Management Practice Domain (MMPD) – This domain relates to previous senior management experience you have gained that align with the RACMA competencies. Eligible applicants will be interviewed with the outcome being a modified training program subject to the level of RPLE awarded. See below links for information about how to apply for RPLE for MMPD.
Applications for credit for either HSSD or RTD must be completed during the initial application process.
