Leadership for Clinicians

Please be aware that the MyRACMA system will be unavailable on Tuesday 2nd April at 07:00 (AEDT) as we will be performing scheduled maintenance. We anticipate a downtime of 30 minutes.

The RACMA Leadership for Clinicians program aims to empower clinician leaders with the knowledge, skills, confidence and self-awareness to play a central, decision-making role within their healthcare and community services.  The program is directed both at emerging leaders and more experienced leaders wishing to formalise their understanding of leadership.

Successful completion of the Leadership for Clinicians program is a RACMA Board approved pathway to apply to elect to Associate Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.

Associate Fellows of RACMA can use the post nominals AFRACMA in accordance with the policy Membership signature blocks and post nominals.

AIDA & Te ORA Scholarships

RACMA is committed to developing Medical Leaders and Managers among our Indigenous medical communities.

The 2024 scholarships have now been allocated to both AIDA and Te ORA recipients.

Overview

The aims of the program are to empower clinician leaders with the knowledge, skills, confidence and self-awareness to play a central role in decision making within their healthcare and community services.

Program Structure and Timetables

The RACMA Leadership for Clinicians program will be delivered both as a blended delivery and fully online program. The blended delivery model will commence and finish with face to face delivery days. In between the scheduled face-to-face sessions there will be four interactive online sessions.

Applying

To apply for the Program, there are some criteria that need to be met and also, there is some documentation that is required to commence the application.
