Quarterly 3 2019 now online

The third issue of The Quarterly for 2019 is now online for you to update yourself on recent developments and happenings through RACMA.

In this edition we look at this year’s College Conference, which dissected Medical Leadership in the New Age and the impact of AI. Conference keynote speaker Dr William Haseltine held the audience captive with his sage advice on successful leadership in an ever-evolving world of medicine. Dr Haseltine is an internationally renowned author, scientist, business leader, and philanthropist. He is well known for his pioneering work on cancer, HIV/AIDS, and genomics. But it his new book, World Class, which has everyone in the world of medical administration and leadership talking. The number one new release looks at how New York University Langone Health went from mediocrity to global leadership in less than a decade. Other key presenters included Marita Cheng AM, founder and CEO of aubot (formerly 2Mar Robotics), which makes a telepresence robot. University of Leicester’s Professor of Medical Law, Jose Miola, looked at whether the law was fit for purpose for AI.

This edition also celebrates our newest Fellows and Associate Fellows and College Award winners.
