EOI – Tasmania Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Coordinator

The RACMA Tasmania Jurisdictional Committee is seeking expressions of interest from Fellows for the position of the CPD Co-ordinator (see application link at the bottom of the page).

The role of the CPD Co-ordinator is to support all Fellows and Associate Fellows within the jurisdiction with their CPD activities. The CPD Coordinator:

• Monitors the progress of CPD compliance within the jurisdiction.
• Reviews/audits jurisdiction Member records for compliance and provide endorsement for all FRACMAs and AFRACMAs. This activity takes place between April and May each year. Ad hoc audits may be required at other times. Support via phone or email is also part of the role especially regarding following up non-compliant Members within the jurisdiction.
• Provides guidance to jurisdiction Members regarding CPD activities and compliance.
• Coordinates CPD activities for jurisdiction Members so that Fellows and Associate Fellows may contribute to their reporting requirements and their professional development participation.
• Reports to the Jurisdictional Committee at Committee meetings between February and November, which generally run for one hour.

Support and training will be provided by both the Chair of the Continuing Education Program Committee and RACMA the Member Services and Engagement Division.

Eligibility to Apply 

The CPD Co-ordinator will be a RACMA Fellow in good standing with the College with a strong interest in professional development.

The appointee may either be a member or non-member of the Jurisdictional Committee. If the successful appointee is the latter, the individual will be co-opted onto the Committee and formally appointed an office bearer. The term of office is three years and may be re-elected for one further term.
