About the role

We’re seeking a motivated Registrar or Senior Registrar (Medical Education) to take on a Temporary Full-Time position until 1 February 2027. This is an ideal opportunity for a RACMA trainee looking to gain hands-on experience in medical administration while developing core competencies in leadership, governance, and health service delivery.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaboratively define your scope of work with your supervisor and College Chair, tailored to your experience and learning goals
  • Work closely with the Chief Medical Officer and senior leadership to support medical management functions
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and strategic projects across the organisation
  • Deepen your understanding of medical governance within the Queensland Health system
  • Uphold the values and standards of the Queensland Public Service and THHS

About you

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Registered with AHPRA as a medical practitioner
  • Currently enrolled in the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA) training program

We’re also looking for someone who brings:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated organisational and project management abilities
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in multidisciplinary teams
