An excellent command of English and Chinese; a high level of communication, interpersonal, presentation and organisational skills; and good computer literacy are required. Experience in hospital commissioning and administration is an advantage.

The appointee will join the HKU Health System team and provide support in the establishment and development of Teaching Hospital projects in Hong Kong and China. He/She will also support the challenging process of forging and maintaining strong alliances between the Faculty and our clinical partners; involve in all clinical related aspects of the work of the HKU Health System team; and perform any other duties as assigned.  Occasional travelling outside Hong Kong may be required.  The appointee will be encouraged to enrol in specialist training programme in Administrative Medicine of the Hong Kong College of Community Medicine.  Applicants who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 201801475) need not re-apply.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.  A monthly cash allowance will be offered to the successful candidate.  Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.

The University only accepts online application for the above post.  Applicants should apply online at the University’s career site (https://jobs.hku.hk) and upload an up-to-date C.V. and an executive summary of their most outstanding accomplishments.  Review of applications will start on June 1, 2019 and continue until August 31, 2019, or until the post is filled, whichever is earlier.
