What you’ll be doing
Our health service is seeking a motivated trainee medical administrator who is eager to contribute to the organisation’s medical management functions while building their skills and competencies within the Queensland health system. You’ll be supported in your development through a structured approach to training, with your role and responsibilities determined collaboratively at the outset by your supervisor, the College Chair Board of Studies, and the Registrar—ideally with your preceptor present. Work activities will be tailored to your prior experience in medical management, with a strong emphasis on acquiring new competencies and achieving meaningful learning outcomes throughout your placement.
This is a temporary full-time position commencing as soon as possible, with an end date of 1 February 2026.
Requirements
- Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- To be eligible, applicants must be current candidates with the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA).
