Queensland Health have an exciting opportunity for a Registrar to train in medical administration, to join their Clinical Governance team. A high level of interpersonal communication skills are essential, as is an empathetic, kind and supportive approach to care. You will also have passion for continued self-education and development. You will train medical directors, senior and junior medical staff, administrative support officers in clinical governance and patient safety and will conduct patient safety reviews and audits.
As a training Registrar, you will develop your skills in medical management with the aim of achieving specialist skills in the field. You will develop your skills in clinical governance, patient safety, emergency disaster management, medical workforce management and medical education. A high level of interpersonal communication skills are essential to build effective working relationships and serve as a role model to junior staff.
