About the Role
Lead where it matters most
At Broome Hospital, part of the WA Country Health Service (WACHS), we are offering a fantastic and challenging opportunity for a Medical Administration Registrar to step into a RACMA-accredited training position that delivers more than just experience — it accelerates your journey to becoming a future health leader.
The Kimberley region is entering an exciting phase of growth and transition, with major service expansion, workforce redesign, and clinical redevelopment underway. This role places you at the centre of that transformation, contributing to real, system-wide change in rural and remote healthcare delivery.
As a Medical Administration Registrar, you’ll be an integral member of the Broome Hospital medical leadership team, working across the Kimberley to:
- Provide professional leadership and support in clinical governance, accreditation, and service redesign.
- Contribute to workforce planning, industrial engagement, and quality improvement.
- Participate in executive decision-making, risk management, and governance committees.
- Drive innovation in areas central to RACMA training — including system reform, health policy, Indigenous health equity, and organisational performance.
This post is accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA) and offers opportunities to complete RACMA requirements. Applicants must be current or prospective RACMA trainees with a demonstrated commitment to specialist training in medical administration.
