As a member of Medical Administration, you will be responsible for supporting the provision of high quality health care services across the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN). You will assist the Executive Director of Medical Services in providing leadership for medical workforce recruitment, retention, industrial relations, credentialing systems, and medicolegal matters. You will also help to facilitate the efficient provision of surgical, medical, obstetric, emergency and anaesthetic services across the network. As a registrar, you will be encouraged to participate in, and where appropriate, function within the broader range of BHFLHN activities as agreed and directed by the Executive Director of Medical Services. This is a great opportunity to undertake a medical administration role within a rapidly changing peri-urban environment with growing demand for health services. You will play a valuable role in ensuring that our salaried and contracted workforce provide safe appropriate and efficient care to our community.

You will need to hold a Bachelor of Medicine or equivalent, and be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner. Demonstrating clinical experience in a teaching hospital, you will bring a high level of personal and professional integrity to the role. You will have the ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences on a range of issues. Along with good time management and organisational skills, you will be capable of working effectively with members of a multidisciplinary team and with people from diverse backgrounds and with diverse values.
