Based at Emerald Hospital, this senior leadership position is responsible for medical services and clinical governance across Emerald, Blackwater, Springsure, Woorabinda, and surrounding facilities. It’s an opportunity to use your skills as both a clinician and a leader to shape the future of rural healthcare.

As DMS, you’ll provide professional and operational leadership to medical staff, partner with executives to drive service delivery and quality, and support medical education and accreditation with ACRRM and RACGP. You’ll balance leadership with clinical practice, maintaining strong community connections and championing rural health at a regional level.

Package & Benefits

• Base salary $210,332 – $266,677 p.a. (L18–L27)
• Total package up to $554,152 p.a. with allowances
• 12.75% employer super, PD leave + $21k allowance, motor vehicle allowance, attraction/retention incentives, and more
• 2-year fixed term contract with potential extension

Requirements

• Fellowship with ACRRM, RACGP, or RACMA
• AFRACMA is highly regarded – support to attain a medical administration fellowship is available
