About the role

We have a new opportunity for a General Manager – Clinical Governance, Clinical & Digital Health Outcomes to join Bupa APAC’s Clinical Governance Team. This newly created role will provide strategic clinical governance leadership across Bupa’s diverse healthcare portfolio.

You will lead the maturation of clinical governance systems and assurance programs relating to an expanding in-person and digital healthcare portfolio and medical workforce, partnering with Bupa APAC business units to ensure safe, high-quality care delivery.

You will also play a key role in supporting the development and evaluation of new healthcare propositions and shaping Bupa’s healthcare outcomes measurement systems.

This position reports to the Chief Medical Officer and is offered as permanent, full-time hours based at our Melbourne or Sydney offices with flexible, hybrid work arrangements available.

About you

A suitably experienced medical practitioner (current unconditional and unrestricted AHPRA registration) who has recently attained or is working towards Fellowship.

In addition, you’ll bring to the role:

• Postgraduate qualifications in clinical governance, health services management and/ or health informatics are highly desirable
• Demonstrated experience in clinical governance and healthcare administration, with strong analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks across digital health, technology, and therapeutics.
• Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and engage senior stakeholders, supported by excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning and capability development.
