This is a unique opportunity to join Calvary Public Hospital Bruce (CPHB) Executive to grow and shape the future of healthcare in the ACT. Calvary’s growth strategy is centred on expanding services and providing excellent, patient focused, integrated health services.
Calvary Public Hospital Bruce is a 300 bed acute general hospital providing a diverse range of services predominately to the Northside of ACT and surrounding population. CPHB is owned and operated by Calvary Healthcare and funded by ACT Health. The health service comprises two campuses including the main acute hospital in the suburb of Bruce and the palliative care hospice Clare Holland House located at Barton. CPHB is part of the Calvary ACT regional group of health services which includes two private hospitals, residential aged care and a broad range of community/home based services.
As the Executive Director, Medical Services – Chief Medical Officer you will provide high level professional support to the General Manager and the broader Executive team. You understand that CPHB’s success is your number one key performance indicator and you will drive a program of process improvement in collaboration with the GM and Executive team.
CBHP is committed to high quality and responsive patient care. Reporting to the General Manager you will be focussed on assurance of compliance with professional standards, credentialing and code of practice, facilitating contemporary practice, models of care and performance guidance to achieve best practice. You, and your team will maintain strong relationships and work collaboratively with the Executive, Regional team, Calvary National and ACT Government to realise strategic opportunities aligned to the Calvary Growth Strategy, Calvary Strategic Intent and ACT Government priorities.
