About the role

The Director Medical Services – Workforce and Wellbeing, will ensure that the Medical Workforce Unit provides efficient, effective and friendly customer service to medical staff in relation to recruitment, appointment, credentialing, contracting, rostering and remuneration. The Director will also oversee the framework and support mechanisms for medical staff wellbeing across Eastern Health, and work collaboratively with the Chief Medical Officer and Deputy Chief Medical Officer to provide coverage of the medical professional responsibilities across Eastern Health.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a legally qualified medical practitioner
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators or equivalent
• Experience in medical workforce management, including understanding of the senior and junior medical staff awards
