Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) is currently inviting applications for a Director of Medical Services to join their team full time.

With a diverse geographic footprint ranging from regional cities, remote townships in the west and beachside communities along our coastline, CQHHS provide public health services in hospitals and communities across Central Queensland, with our team of more than 3,700 delivering Great Care for Central Queenslanders.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Executive Director of Medical Services, the Director of Medical Services (DMS) is a member of the Rockhampton Hospital & Business Unit and will be responsible for leadership in Medical Staff recruitment and retention; operational management of various medical services across the Unit; professional advice and oversight in collaboration with other Business Unit services to facilitate contemporary and appropriate medical models; clinical advice to manage strategic and tactical imperatives as well as clinical governance and professional oversight for a range of medical staff.

Salary Information:

L25 – L27 Total Remuneration Package $474,786 p.a.

L18 – L24 Total Remuneration Package $436,809 p.a.

L13 – L25 Total Remuneration Package $416,808 p.a.
