Where you’ll be working

At Southern NSW Local Health District, we are working to help our communities lead healthy lives.  Our mission is that all people across our diverse region, are able to have timely access to our health services. We have two clinical Networks, Tablelands-Monaro which is inland and Coastal.

The Coastal Network brings together healthcare services and diverse populations across the South Coast region and includes the Eurobodalla and Bega Valley municipalities and popular sea-change destinations such as Batemans Bay, Narooma, Bermagui, Merimbula, and Eden. The Network’s services cater for the health needs of its residents and the thousands of tourists who visit each year.

The Coastal Network has four hospitals – South East Regional Hospital at Bega, Pambula Hospital, Moruya Hospital and Batemans’s Bay Hospital and planning is well underway for the new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital in Moruya due to open in 2025.

The new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital development

The NSW Government has announced $260 million to build a sustainable, modern and purpose-built hospital to support the needs of the entire Eurobodalla Shire from Narooma to Batemans Bay.

The new hospital will be a major regional hospital at the heart of the Eurobodalla Local Government Area. It will deliver high quality, contemporary and accessible care close to home.

Batemans Bay HealthONE

The new HealthOne facility will provide additional healthcare services to complement the new hospital and provide the people of Eurobodalla with greater access to care, closer to home.  The proposed facility will deliver community healthcare services such as GP care, dental care, child and family services, aged care and other allied health services.
