Where you’ll be working
Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH) is a rural health organisation that operates five campuses across Hepburn Shire and the Macedon Ranges in the Central Highlands of Victoria in Australia, north and north-west of Melbourne. It was formed through the voluntary amalgamation of Hepburn Health Service and Kyneton District Health on the 30th November 2019. Each of our campuses retains the name of the township in which they are situated – Clunes Health, Creswick Health, Daylesford Health, Kyneton Health, and Trentham Health.
About the role
As a valued member of our multi-disciplinary executive leadership team the Director of Medical Services plays a key role in leading medical and organisational culture, clinical service delivery, executive and board reporting on medical and clinical matters, medical workforce performance and development and medicolegal advice and support. The Director of Medical Services actively contributes to consumer, carer and community relationships and partnerships; supporting and advising other health professionals and members of the executive team; and strategic health service system partnership activities.
About You
- Medical Board of Australia general and/or specialist registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or eligible for registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia
- Experience and qualification relevant to medical administration/management such as FRACMA/AFRACMA or MBA/MHA
- A minimum three years full-time of medical clinical experience
