St John of God Subiaco is a world-class 578 bed private hospital offering the highest quality medical and surgical care in a warm and welcoming environment. It is about to commence a $300M redevelopment which will include a new eight storey clinical block, private emergency department, a Mother and Baby Unit including a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a virtual care hub, and a purpose-built pandemic ward to care for patients when outbreaks of highly infectious diseases such as COVID-19 occur.
This iconic hospital is now seeking an exceptional Director of Medical Services to join its executive team as it continues on its transformation journey.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director Medical Services will provide executive level and strategic leadership ensuring the maintenance of the highest level of contemporary, safe and effective patient centered clinical practice.
You will support the achievement of high standards of practice and ensure that clinical care, teaching, training and research are supported by appropriate clinical governance patient safety, quality of care, clinical excellence, incident management, accreditation, and medico-legal matters. You will also be responsible for overseeing and developing post graduate medical education as well as supporting St John of God Subiaco’s extensive research footprint and clinical trials.
