St John of God Midland Public & Private Hospitals is seeking an outstanding individual to undertake the role of Director Medical Services and provide leadership and strategic direction for Medical Services across the hospital.
Operating under a public-private partnership with the WA State Government, SJGHC Midland is a 367-bed facility that opened in 2015 and is located in Perth’s eastern suburbs. We deliver a wide range of services for inpatients and outpatients across a range of specialties including emergency medicine, obstetrics, medical and surgical services, mental health, paediatric care, geriatrics, acute stroke care, rehabilitation and allied health.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role will oversee a robust and accountable medical credentialing framework, promote high quality medical education, drive medical research efforts and deliver strategic leadership to a responsive and highly capable medical workforce.
Outstanding leadership and communication skills coupled with a skill for developing collaborative partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders will ensure you are successful in this pivotal role.
