As the Director Medical Services, you will lead a medical team to deliver quality medical services to our patients and clients within a rural health setting. You will receive a competitive remuneration package value between $353,460 (L18) and $474,811 (L27), motor vehicle allowance, accommodation, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., locality allowance and professional indemnity cover. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19 (Health Employment Directive No. 12/21 and Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70).
Respiratory protection program
Darling Downs Health has a respiratory protection program which supports the use of personal protective equipment as an essential element of defence in the hierarchy of controls. Every employee is responsible for complying with directions in relation to personal protective equipment. Some employees are required to wear a P2/N95 mask in their role and therefore must be able to achieve a fit check/fit test of a P2/N95 mask to ensure the safety of themselves, their colleagues, their consumers and our community.
