Caboolture Hospital provides medical services to an ever-increasing population. This role is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make a significant impact in an area of Brisbane that is experiencing growth in the demand for clinical services by the community with bed numbers increasing, infrastructure refurbishment and a new satellite hospital all on the horizon.   Recently re-accredited with a medical workforce expanding to over 200 in 2023 the candidate must display passion for community health, medical governance and driving a growth agenda.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to make a significant contribution to Queensland Metro North Health Service as the Director Medical Services, Caboolture Kilcoy and Woodford Clinical Directorate.

The Director Medical Services, Caboolture Kilcoy and Woodford Clinical Directorate (DMS) provides comprehensive medical administrative support and direction within Caboolture Hospital focussing on the provision of medical services in a clinically safe, efficient and effective manner in addition to the management of the medical workforce and hospital clinical governance.

This role is one of professional leadership of the medical workforce within Caboolture, including operational management of the medical education, medical workforce, pharmacy and health information service teams.

It is also responsible for contributing to and working collaboratively as a member of the Caboolture Hospital Executive, and with other parts of Metro North. This role provides direct advice to the Chief Executive of Caboolture Hospital in accordance with MNH’s vision, purpose, values, and objectives as outlined in strategic and operational plans.
