About the role

As the Director Medical Services at Bunbury Hospital, you will provide strategic leadership and clinical governance across the medical workforce, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient healthcare delivery. Your key responsibilities include overseeing medical staffing functions such as recruitment, credentialing, rostering, and performance management, while supporting the Regional Director Medical Services in implementing WACHS South West’s strategic priorities. You will foster collaborative relationships with contracted clinical service providers to ensure seamless care, contribute to the education and development of medical staff, and champion clinical excellence in alignment with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. This role is central to driving innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across Bunbury Hospital’s medical services.
