About The Role
The Opportunity
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to be Deputy Director of Medical Services reports to the Director of Medical Services. In conjunction with the Director of Medical Services, Service Line Directors and Clinical Directors is responsible for ensuring that the medical services provided by the Caboolture and Kilcoy Hospitals and Woodford Corrections Health Service are delivered to the highest professional and ethical standards.

What You’ll Bring
- Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health’s values:
- Provide effective strategic and operational leadership and management of medical services in the hospital to inform and influence the direction of the Caboolture and Kilcoy Hospitals and Woodford Corrections Health Service.
- Medical HR Issues – management of medical HR matters as delegated by the Director of Medical Services.
- Oversee processes that attract and retain the medical workforce: recruitment, appointment commencement, induction, credential and define scope of practice, and roster and to ensure that staff have a clear understanding of role accountabilities, governance systems and culture.
- Lead the development and monitoring of strategies to ensure continual compliance to Quality and Legislative Standards required to maintain the organisation’s accreditation status.
