South Eastern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a passionate Medical Administrator for this key new District role.
As the Deputy Director, Clinical Governance & Medical Services you will support the Director, Clinical Governance & Medical Services by leading the Clinical Governance Unit and its functions across the District. You will also represent the District as the delegate of the Director at local and State meetings.

The role will suit a recent Fellow or experienced senior trainee of the College, looking for a new challenge. To be successful in the role you will be a hands on leader with an ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels of the organisation.
Experienced senior trainees of the College expecting to obtain Fellowship in 2020 are eligible to apply.
This position will be offered at a Staff Specialist level for those with a Fellowship of the Australasian College of Medical Administrators or other Fellowship covered under the Staff Specialist (State) Award, and under the Public Hospital Medical Superintendent’s Award for a senior trainee of the College without Fellowship. A successful candidate who does not hold Fellowship will be eligible to transition to the Staff Specialist Award upon awarding of the FRACMA within 12 months following appointment without further advertisement subject to satisfactory performance in the role.
