About the Role

The role of the Clinical Director, Community & Preventive Health (CPH) and Caloundra Health Service (CHS) is to provide high quality clinical and non-clinical leadership and direction to benefit the patients accessing the Community & Preventive Health and Caloundra Health Service services in the SCHHS.

In addition to your clinical and professional expertise, you must have skills in managing people, leadership and sustainable financial decision accountability.

About You

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key requirements, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under ‘Your role’, the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • High level clinical and managerial experience in delivering a comprehensive, contemporary and sustainable tertiary level Community Health and outpatient services.
  • Lead a culture of safety and quality which develops and promotes a learning environment through improvement methodology, risk management and effective clinical governance.
  • Professional leadership of medical staff including active leadership and engagement in education and research, as well as previous experience managing HR matters involving medical staff.
