Where you’ll be working

Northern Health provides health services to a diverse community within a rapidly expanding catchment area that is projected to grow by a further 50-53% by 2036 and has continued to foster an organisational environment that pushes collaboration, innovation, efficiency and the delivery of high-quality care through its commitment to research and education; all bound by its values of safe, kind and together.

About the Role

The health service’s growth in community population has been coupled with correlative growth in its workforce (up to 9200 staff) and services ($1.1B revenue in FY23-24), provided across its now 5 main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital (following successful voluntary amalgamation in late 2023). Whilst its ED treats over 116,00 patients each year, its continual path of growth and innovation can also be typified by the expansion of the Statewide Victorian Virtual Emergency Department (VVED) service which now cares for 200,000 patients annually, and its mental health services which are now provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg sites. Investment into its sites is ongoing, including the Epping and Craigieburn campuses.
