New short stay unit and modern, emergency, critical care, ambulatory, aged care and rehabilitation facilities uniquely integrate in-patient, ambulatory, community and home based services. Ballarat Health Services is a major training site for the University of Melbourne and Deakin Rural Clinical Schools. The position of Registrar in Medical Administration, Leadership and Management is located within the Directorate of the Chief Medical Officer and will provide training in regional and rural health services planning, development, deliver and evaluation with scope to contribute to population health improvement, medical workforce sustainability, development of new models of care, research and innovation in health care, clinical governance and ethics and clinical audit and review.
