Manager, Accreditation and Training

Working closely with the Executive Director, Education, Training & Development, and Unit Managers, the Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of identified aspects of the Fellowship Training Program. The Manager will lead the Training team to deliver, monitor, review, evaluate and report on areas of responsibility for the Program and identify and implement quality improvements. The Manager will support the team to deliver high-level customer service and ensure compliance requirements are met and processes and policies followed. The Manager will work closely with RACMA Faculty, Committees and staff from across the business. The role will also be responsible for overseeing Accreditation of Training Posts, training and support for Training Supervisors and Preceptors and the Candidate journey and training requirements including education activities. The Manager will also contribute strategically to achieve program and organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Training team and manage the day-to-day operations of the unit including Training Post Accreditation and the Candidate journey including online and face to face education activities.
  • Support the development of team members, providing support and ensuring ownership and delivery of their role responsibilities.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of unit functions, ensuring quality outcomes and achievement of organisational objectives.
  • Develop and monitor processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy and compliance of Unit functions.
  • Provide expertise for Training Post Accreditation and delivery of training requirements including program design, policies, operations, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and quality improvements.
  • Identify, monitor, report and manage risks associated with the Unit functions, ensuring compliance with internal process and policy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage continuous improvement strategies for the Unit’s areas of responsibility; implement improvements following appropriate approvals.
  • Develop documentation including communications, reports, proposals, recommendations, policies, processes, evaluations, information/education materials and resources to support the operations, delivery and quality improvement for the unit’s responsibilities.
  • Present discussion papers, data analysis and evaluation findings, insights, trends and recommendations to clearly explain complex ideas to relevant stakeholder groups.
  • Engage, consult and collaborate with stakeholders including Committees and Committee Chairs, the Education, Training & Development Leadership team and College staff for successful program outcomes.
  • Contribute to developing budgets and provide ongoing monitoring and reporting of approved budgets.

Senior Coordinator, Accreditation (two roles)

The Senior Coordinator, Accreditation will coordinate the day-to-day operations of Training Post Accreditations for the Fellowship Training Program. The Senior Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of the Training Post Accreditation process. The Senior Coordinator will monitor, review, evaluate and report on Training Post Accreditations, contributing to the identification and implementation of quality improvements. The Senior Coordinator will deliver high-level customer service and ensure compliance requirements are met and processes and policies followed. The Senior Coordinator will work with RACMA Faculty, Committees and staff from across the business. The role involves extensive engagement with external stakeholders. The role will also contribute to the training of and support for Training Supervisors and Preceptors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of Training Post Accreditation for the Fellowship Training Program.
  • Coordinate all stages of the Training Post Accreditation process and cycle, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and compliance of Unit functions.
  • Coordinate and attend site visits/interviews and provide secretariat support to Accreditation Panels, and provide expertise regarding accreditation standards and processes.
  • Prepare Training Post Accreditation documentation, including accreditation reports and recommendations.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end delivery, monitoring and evaluation of Training Post Accreditation including timelines, processes, communications, documentation, analysis and reporting, applying a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Identify, monitor, report, and in conjunction with the Unit Manager manage risks associated with the Unit functions, ensuring compliance with internal process and policy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and provide administrative support to College committees/panels including organising meetings, preparing and distributing agendas, writing and distributing minutes and writing reports.
  • Develop documentation including communications, reports, recommendations, processes, evaluations, information materials and resources to support the operations, delivery and quality improvement of the Fellowship Training Program.
  • Present reports, data analysis and evaluation findings, insights, trends and recommendations to clearly explain complex ideas to relevant stakeholder groups.
  • Engage, consult and collaborate with stakeholders including committees and staff for successful program outcomes.
  • Provide support for planning and delivery of training requirements.

Manager, Assessments

Coordinator, Education Programs

The primary purpose of this role is to support delivery of RACMA’s Education programs for delivery across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand including the Specialist Training Program funded program for First Nations Doctors. The position will contribute to the delivery of Education programs to ensure maximum efficiencies of available resources. The role will provide support to College Members and External Facilitators involved in the delivery of Education Programs. The role will also be responsible for managing program logistics, including venue coordination, travel arrangements for facilitators and where approved, participants. The role involves extensive engagement with internal and external stakeholders. The coordinator will maintain information and data and deliver high-level customer service and ensure processes and policies are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of Education Programs including applicant and participant enquiries, enrolment, invoicing, travel and accommodation arrangements, and venue coordination.
  • Coordinate end-to-end event management and logistics, including registrations, confirmation of event details with venues, dietary requirements, preparing materials for workshop days e.g. sign in sheets, name badges.
  • Coordinate Education Programs, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and compliance of Unit functions. Attend sessions when required.
  • Monitor and report on Participant progress applying a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Source venue options in collaboration with the Education Programs Manager for face to face sessions.
  • Review venue contracts and prepare for authorisation by the designated RACMA Manager.
  • Process invoices and expenses claims, checking against contracts, policies and approved budget.
  • Engage, consult and collaborate with stakeholders including committees and staff for successful program outcomes.
  • Escalate program concerns to the Manager, Education Programs as necessary.
