Dr Liang Joo Leow

My experience and formal qualifications in both corporate and clinical governance align with the responsibilities of the RACMA Board, namely the strategy, planning, finances and compliance of College; overseeing and advising the Executive; enhancing College’s reputation; and maintaining timely and comprehensive reporting to members and stakeholders. I bring the perspective of an AFRACMA with self-driven passion, rather than a purely vocational responsibility, in medical leadership. This has led to my involvement with the NSW Jurisdictional Committee and our Clinical Governance Advisory Group; as well as the Advancing Women in Healthcare Leadership (AWHL) Community of Practice. My other medical leadership roles span a diverse scope including medicines regulation, research publication and clinical teaching. In recent times my lived experience, and dedication to diversity and inclusion have been increasingly important in my governance roles. I am honoured to receive the support of my AFRACMA colleagues for this nomination and hope to receive your vote.
