1. Purpose
This policy adopts the Code of Conduct developed by the Medical Council of New Zealand, and finalised in April 2013.
Good Medical Practice (the Code) describes what is expected of all doctors registered to practise medicine in New Zealand. It sets out the standards which the public and profession expect a competent doctor to meet, and where relevant, provides guidance to assist doctors understand, and comply with, the requirements of legislation.
2. Scope
The Code will apply to all members of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.
