As the current Candidate Director in a casual vacancy position since August 2024, I would be honoured to continue to serve our Candidates across both Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Through my time as a Candidate representative on the RACMA Candidate Advisory Committee (CAC), I have had the great opportunity to connect and grow a deeper understanding of Candidates across the College. I have a diverse background with trainee advocacy and representation, being the prior Chair of the RACP College Trainees’ Committee and the prior Chair of the Federal AMA Council of Doctors in Training. I also have relevant governance experience, being a current and prior non-executive director on NFP boards and also have undertaken the AICD (Foundations) course. Most importantly, I hope to serve the College and uphold our values of Professionalism, Integrity, Excellence and Respect, and welcome any feedback from Candidates on issues concerning them during my term.
