Job Description Southern NSW Local Health District  has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Medical Services covering primarily Queanbeyan and Goulburn Hospitals.  A wide range of lifestyle choice from Canberra, the most liveable city in Australia or an idyllic rural setting, closer to Goulburn or Bowral awaits the successful applicant.

The Director of Medical Services Northern is responsible for coverage of Goulburn Health Service, Crookwell, Yass and Queanbeyan Hospitals.  This represents a breadth of rural and regional experience providing opportunities to make a difference in service provision.  The Goulburn Hospital  redevelopment is one such example of this type of opportunity.

The Director of Medical Services reports to the relevant General Managers and professionally to the Executive Director of Medical Services.  Teamwork and communication skills are highly sought , together with The Districts CORE values of “Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment”.  The advancement of Medical Engagement is a key focus area for the successful applicant.

Remuneration
Employment is offered in accordance with the Staff Specialists (State) Award/Senior or the Medical Superintendent (State) Award.
