Job Description St John of God Health Care (SJGHC) is one of Australia's largest not for profit health care providers, with 17 hospitals, home nursing, community and social outreach services throughout Australia, New Zealand and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
 
SJGHC is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to lead its newest WA hospital located in Midland.   This 307-bed hospital is operated under a public private partnership between the State Government and SJGHC. 
 
St John of God Midland Public Hospital opened in November 2015 and is state of the art facility which provides medical and surgical care for public patients in Perth’s east metropolitan and Wheatbelt regions. 
 
SJG Midland offers a wide range of services, caring for inpatients, outpatients and day patients across a range of specialties including emergency medicine, maternity, medical and surgical, mental health and therapy, paediatric care, aged and stroke care, rehabilitation and allied health.
 
Reporting to the Executive Director, WA Hospitals, and as an experienced, strong and inclusive leader, this role will be focused on continuing to deliver outstanding service within the parameters of the contract with the WA State Government, as well as achieve and/or exceed relevant Key Performance Indicators and operational targets.  The successful candidate will have led a hospital of a similar size and complexity through periods of sustainable growth.
