Background
Requests are received from time to time to cancel or transfer professional development bookings.  At the time of writing, it was identified that a terms and conditions cancellation policy did not exist on the RACMA website. 

Scope
The LTCAC endorses the terms and conditions outlined below to be placed on the RACMA website and this policy is applied against future professional development programs. 

1.     Professional Development Transfers
(Management for Clinicians and Leadership for Clinicians):


People who are unable to participate in a program may send a replacement delegate to that program.  Replacement delegates are welcomed and do not incur any financial penalty.  


2.     Professional Development Cancellations:

·         Cancellations received up to 10 working days prior to the program will incur a 30% cancellation fee.
·         Cancellations between 10 working days prior and 3 working days prior incur a 50% cancellation fee.
·         No refunds will apply for cancellations within 3 working days of program commencement date.
·         Cancellation must be in writing.
·         In the event of program cancellation by RACMA, participants will be entitled to a full refund.

3.     Professional Development Deferment (Management for Clinicians and Leadership for Clinicians):
·         Deferments received up to 10 working days prior to the program commencement date will incur a 10% administration fee.
·         Deferments between 10 and 5 working days prior to the program commencement will incur a 30% transfer fee.
·         Deferments requested less than 5 working days prior to the program commencement will incur a 50% transfer fee.
·         Deferment requests must be in writing.
·         Deferments must be redeemed within the current calendar year.


4.     Events (Dinners, Conferences, ASM and Forums)

·         Cancellation with more than 5 working days notice will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total program or contracted fee.
·         Cancellation with less than 5 working days notice will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the total program or contracted fee.
·         In the event of cancellation by RACMA, participants will be entitled to a full refund.


5.     Customised Programs, Consultancy and Coaching:

·         Cancellation with more than two weeks’ notice will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total program or contracted fee.
·         Cancellation with less than two weeks’ notice will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the total program or contracted fee.


6.     Changes

RACMA reserves the right to make changes to professional development/events if registration numbers are not met.  In the event of a cancellation, you will be notified in writing and your registration will be transferred to the next available professional development program, or a refund made available to you for an event registration.  If a suitable date cannot be found for the workshop or event, your fee will be refunded in full.  At times the program contents of professional development and events may change.  RACMA reserves the right to make changes to a published professional development/event to all registrants without notice, however, where possible notification of changes will be made. 


7.     Mailing List:

By participating in an RACMA program / event, you will automatically be added to our database which includes receiving newsletters. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
