A transition from Management Case Study to Research-based Case Study took place in 2012 when RACMA introduced Research Training Program as one of the compulsory components of the Fellowship Training Program.

Candidates via Standard Pathway and Clinical Specialist Pathway are required to complete the Research-based Case Study for oral and written assessment, as part of the Research Training Program.

The RTP Handbook outlines the College's Research Training Program and sets guidelines for assessment tasks, procedures and resources to help Candidates.

These Candidates are not required to complete the Management Case Study.

Candidates via Medical Executive Pathway (commencing from 2016) will be required to complete the Management Case Study.

These Candidates are not required to undertake the Research Training Program therefore, not required to complete the Research-based Case Study.
